Elecnova ECO-STS-C125-2/4/6IN is an automatic switching cabinet (STS) designed for integration with 125 kW Elecnova energy storage systems. The equipment provides automatic switching between the utility grid and off-grid operation, helping maintain power supply to critical loads when the external grid is unavailable.

The series is available in three configurations — ECO-STS-C125-2IN, ECO-STS-C125-4IN and ECO-STS-C125-6IN — supporting 2, 4 or 6 ESS units, respectively. The cabinet also supports connection of a PV inverter and backup loads, enabling integration of an energy storage system with a solar PV system and operation of the facility in off-grid mode.

How Does STS Work in an Energy Storage System?

Elecnova ECO-STS-C125-2/4/6IN provides automatic switching between the utility grid and the energy storage system. During normal operation, the facility operates with the grid, while the ESS interacts with the power system according to the configured control strategy.

If the utility grid becomes unavailable, the STS switches the system to off-grid operation, allowing backup loads to receive power from the ESS. Once grid power is restored, the equipment returns the system to grid-connected operation.
