Solar power plant
20 kW
The project of a solar station with a capacity of 20 kW, located in the village of Kirillovka, was implemented by the company “Suchasna Energiya” in 2019. The station is located on the roof of a private hotel, which is located on the seashore. The main goal of this project was to reduce the hotel’s own electricity consumption and sell excess electricity at the Feed-in Tariff.
The solar station consists of Longi Solar LR6-72 370 W photovoltaic solar panels that convert solar energy into electrical energy. The panels are installed on the roof of the hotel in such a way as to receive the maximum amount of sunlight and generate electricity. The collected energy is used to power the hotel, including lighting, air conditioning, heating and household appliances.
The surplus electricity generated by the grid inverter Fronius SYMO 20.0-3-M, which the hotel cannot use, is sold to the public grid at the feed-in tariff. The feed-in tariff provides a higher price for the sold green electricity, which helps to increase the profitability of the project.
The 20 kW solar station provides a significant part of the hotel’s energy needs and reduces dependence on traditional energy sources such as the electricity grid, gas or fuel sources. This significantly reduces the operating costs of the hotel.
This project of a solar station with a capacity of 20 kW has a payback period of 4 years. This means that the cost of installing and maintaining the station will pay off in 4 years thanks to the reduction in the cost of purchasing electricity and selling excess energy.
Overall, the solar station is an innovative and sustainable solution for the energy needs of the hotel, and also provides an additional source of income through the sale of excess electricity at the feed-in tariff.
